HDS Nominated for Two Awards at TechFest!
HDS have been nominated for Product of the Year and Best Use of New Technology at the prestigious Construction News & New Civil Engineer TechFest Awards!
Product of the Year – TechFest judges shortlisted HDS’ (already award winning) thermal imaging system for measuring the rate of spread of pre-coated chippings on HRA materials, recognising the contribution the technology is making to improve health & safety and construction quality on local authority frameworks in England. We are delighted to be nominated with our partners Eurovia UK.
Best Use of New Technology – HDS are in partnership with WSP, BEAR Scotland, Amey, Aggregate Industries, Breedon, and Tarmac, where the shortlist is recognising the game changing work that the team have been doing in Scotland automating the role of materials technicians during highways maintenance and construction.
The awards are in November so watch this space for a hopeful HDS win!
